Precise positioning with GIS&Map accuracy – VRS DGNSS
The VRS DGNSS (Differential GNSS) service, provided by GeoNet, assures positioning accuracy approx. 10-50cm with single or dual frequency (L1/L2) GPS receiver.
For this purpose, the receiver must be able to receive real-time corrections via GSM modem.

The process of surveying:
- The reference network stations continuously receive data from satellites and forward them to a central server with data processing software installed (Trimble GPS NET).
- The software decides the ambiguity in the network, generates corrections and send them to rovers.
- Rovers connect to the server via radio, GSM or Internet connection to obtain real-time corrections and calculate the position within few centimeters, using the algorithm set out in the software.
Technical data:
Maximum accuracy: 10-50cm
Data Format: RTCM 2.1/RTCM2.3
Access: GPRS / NTRIP Protocol
Navigation system: GPS+GLONASS
Data obtained in VRS DGNSS mode can be used for:
- A number of GIS&Mapping applications.
- Precision navigation.
- Hydrography.
- Fleet management.
- Precise positioning of agricultural machines and arable land determination.
- Ecology, Environmental and Water protection.
- Various researches and others.
